at mcm this weekend i’m going to have a very limited amount of these hemlock portrait cards! they’re A6 and all unique, inked traditionally with a brush and indian ink. so far there are 4 lumis, 2 ullas, and 2 sindris, now i need to do some tristans. but human or frog ones?
here’s a link again to the map with me and ponymonster’s table! ponymonster has a bunch of new stuff including some adorable pokemon phone charms, i already pinched a set of them for myself~
it’s that time again!
my sister ponymonster and i will be at MCM expo this weekend at comic village table B4 (or CB4). if you get lost, rows A to E are sandwiched between theatre B and the letraset stand. come and yell at me for not updating hemlock in person!
it’s pretty rare that i’m on time with this sort of thing!
spreading the spooky icon joy, now with new glasses.
tonight’s doodle that i liked enough to ink. you can faintly see where she used to have lower arms in the sketch, but they weren’t right so i got rid of them.
a combination of seeing this and this today.
a drawing from a while ago of another stylish muslim lady from the area i live in. i think she might even be one of my neighbours?
i’ve been trying to draw hemlock but i’m so rusty, i keep second-guessing myself. gotta push through it!!
why does baba yaga eat human children? other witches don't seem to do so, so it doesn't seem cultural or necessary to witch nutrition.
assuming you mean in hemlock, there are other witches who eat human children, but most of them find it too troublesome. it’s old and strong magic, but it usually follows with a mob of angry humans chasing after them. so mostly they just stick to the parts which can be replaced - for example when lumi took baby teeth as payment for her story. hair and nail clippings are also good. they don’t just eat them plain like meat, so much as use parts for ingredients.
You’re in MY frog’s body!!
AND A TRISTAN TOO
i’m so happy! i wish i could have seen you guys in real life!
there are more photos on ovenfeels blog~
